Mayura Chandekar from MCAPS Global was the designer for our house extension and refurbishment project. She was very meticulous from day 1, took into account our vision for extension, worked around our requirements, and created a design that gave a lot of open space. She liaised effectively with the council officer, and structural engineer and was always available if the builder had any queries. She looked into each and every minute detail while doing the plans. We would highly recommend Mayura and her team.

We recently engaged MCAPS Global to design and oversee our ground floor extension and are very pleased with the outcome. Mayura (of MCAPS) and her team carefully understood our needs, and the constraints of our existing property and laid out well-thought-through designs for our consideration. These were practical and utilised the space efficiently in line with our requirements. They then proceeded to help us to identify and shortlist a building contractor as well as associated specialists. Tender documents were well-detailed and tenders/costs were thoroughly reviewed. They then helped oversee the building activities, further proceeding to lay out lighting, decorating, and procurement details.
They have communicated well throughout our project, been thoughtful and flexible where changes needed to be made, and have been clear, upfront, and professional by way of their work and fees. We are now enjoying the fruits of the collective efforts and wish them well in their further projects.

I would like to share a few words in the form of feedback about the recent experience we had about engaging with Mayura Chandekar (MCAPS GLOBAL) for our house refurbishment project. Mayura went beyond our expectations to deliver everything meticulously on time and ensured we were satisfied with what we got at the end. Hence, we realised it was a best decision to engage with Mayura for her architecture related services. It was a full refurbishment project from a kitchen rebuilding/redesigning to repainting, rewiring, plumbing, heating, flooring, decking etc. We appointed Mayura to Design and Manage the project. From concept design to detailed drawings for Tender, it was a quick turnaround within 4 weeks. In spite of delivering such a huge task, we were pleased to know that her attention to detail in terms of design and in overseeing the construction helped in achieving quality as well as aesthetics. Mayura helped with arranging, negotiating and signing a building contract with the Contractor. She also helped arranging and making sure at every stage that the right paperwork was in place may it be the Contractor Insurance or even the Asbestos checks and recommendations. She was quite diligent, prompt and proactive in dealing with the contractor and his sub-contractors. She was also very particular in procuring some of the items at several stages of the whole project. I would definitely recommend MCAPS Global!

We appointed Mcaps Global to design an extensive refurbishment of a rundown house that we wanted to turn into our home. Mayura (DIR of Mcaps) was involved from day 1 (before purchase) and provided numerous options on the design. The project included extensions as well as numerous structural changes to create the spaces we wanted. The design phase lasted well over 4 months and the most of the works were completed over a very quick 6 months and were also overseen by Mayura. Throughout the process Mayura provided an excellent and prompt service. As it was an old house we sometimes needed to change plans as unexpected situations came about and Mayura responded with agility every time. Mayura coordinated with all other consultants and the contractors. A large part of the procurement of items was also managed by her. Overall, we were very happy with the services and have already recommended her to others.

Mayura Chandekar of MCAPS GLOBAL, Architects, designed our home improvement ideas as per our requirements and helped to obtain necessary planning permission. She also documented and managed contract administration of the project and was always there to resolve difficult issues from start to finish. But for her hand holding throughout, the key project activities couldn’t have been managed easily. Her key design item - a featured frameless window - introduced the “wow” factor to the whole creation! Her approach was thoughtful, matured and pricing was competitive.

We did a 6m rear extension along with a new kitchen in our existing 3 bed house. The second phase of our project involves a two storey side extension. Mayura from MCAPS Global Ltd has done an astonishing job not only in designing the house, but also helped us during the entire project lifecycle all the way from planning application to selecting a builder, liaison with building control and choosing the best kitchen as well as building material.
Giving us a lot of practical suggestions, Mayura came up with many design options to choose from. She has keen attention to details and a great aesthetic sense.

Words would definitely fall short if we were to describe all of Mayura's qualities. The one that stands out the most is her perfectionism. she works with extremely high attention to detail and the amount of thought that she puts behind every inch of detail is clearly visible in the end result. Throughout the project there was no compromise on quality, function or aesthetics even while maintaining a rough budget guideline. We have assigned her with full interiors of our flat and kitchen refurbishment. As first part of the project, She understood and worked with our requirements for our kitchen from the outset and was always available to answer our questions, provide us alternatives and explain the pros and cons of various options. we not only received detailed drawings, renderings during the design phase but she was also very thorough in every single thing that went into our kitchen including the tiles, electric sockets, wallpaper etc and then the coordination with the builder during final execution. She was attentive to details, patient and willing to take a challenge. I am Ani Kaprekar, a Life/Exec Coach based out of Manchester. I have recently undertaken significant refurb projects at my house (a corner plot 3 bed house with a large garage converted extension, and a big garden) and got Mayura/MCAPS for all the architecture and interior design consulting. The idea was to convert extension into a Life Coaching studio and then connect spaces with kitchen extension, two reception rooms etc. We wanted to introduce a new look to a 1935s house with beautifully connected flowing spaces. I am so impressed with her keen eye and inputs: to design spaces in such a way that the new space naturally feels a "part of you." In parts, we were stunned to understand the potential our house spaces offered and Mayura was creative to model multiple options for us to help us visualise better. As a first project, I am converting an extension to the house - a suffocating space with a lot of clutter of the past - thanks to Mayura's inputs, the space has now opened up, it's bright and breathing fresh again. We have managed to fit in a spacious Life coaching studio, a utility room and a wet room - all very comfortably and beautifully... I can't wait now for all the work to finish soon and begin working from this inspiring space in its full decor. Keep up the good work.
